exterior restoration of historic upper-story wood window assemblies and sashes as needed. work includes repair of existing window sashes, wood-rot repair to frames and jams to match existing historic profiles. scope also includes surface prep, scrape, sand, fill, caulk, paint and stabilization on affected areas as needed. all work will be done from inside the building and all sashes ill be taken off for repair while temporary protective coverings may be installed during this time. this will be done during the process but it is temporary window coverings while sashs are getting repaired. all work will comply with fernandina beach historic district standards and secretary of the interior repairs-in-kind restoration guidelines.
